An old-fashioned climbing road trip story. It aims to highlight multiple communities in several different areas: Detroit to Chicago to Wisconsin to Minnesota to The U.P. of Michigan.

Cities to Crags is a ride along with Cameron Maier and Sam Elias. It is intended to be a fun, relaxed, interesting and inspiring journey, and an exploration of regional locales in culture, climbing, and community. The first trip was in the Fall of 2019 through the Southeastern United States.

Cities To Crags is a cultural exploration of locational fabric with climbing as a common thread. It will always include both wilder, quieter, more remote natural outdoor venues, as well as the purely urban environments and climbing gyms – even including art, music, pop culture, food, and drink. The hope is to give a voice to each location, and allow unique sights, sounds, flavors, colors, textures, feelings, and styles to naturally emerge.
